Who benefits?

As Israel’s offensive into Gaza approaches its fourth week, the outcome is starting to be seriously considered. The bottom line, to me, is that no one says that Hamas will be removed from power in Gaza. That’s right, they will still be in power.

Who says that one cannot negotiate with an entity if that entity does not want you to exist? In fact, what’s the need for negotiating if one does want you to exist? That’s three-quarters of the “battle.”

Who is benefiting from Israeli policy, as it stands? Israel certainly is not, as the ire of the entire world is becoming focused on them due to their actions, particularly those in its region who are not eating directly from the American spoon. The two beneficiaries are those in Israel experiencing a temporary lull of incoming rockets and the CEOs and stockholders in the worldwide military industrial complex.
